Actually, I could work my entire life on one picture, but as Pablo Picasso once said:

“The worst part of it is that it is never finished. There is never the moment when one can say 'I have done a good job and tomorrow is Sunday.' As soon as one stops, it is only to start all over again from the beginning. One can leave a picture alone and decide not to touch it any more. But one can never write beneath it the words: Finished.”

With the following exhibits I'm presenting two contrasting areas of my work – one is orientated by classical and representational painting, the other by the free subjectivity of abstract vision.... But each and everything with a lot of colour! I thereby draw inspiration from my roots and the tension between the two different cultures in which I feel at home.
